A didactic plant of a flexible manufacturing system was presented, which was the final undergraduate project of one of LACSED members. This system separates objects according to their color (red or blue) and size (small or large) and was modeled with DES using the Supervisory Control Theory.
Several elementary and high school students could see the prototype in operation.
