The Laboratory of Analysis and Control of Discrete Events Systems, or Laboratório de Análise e Controle de Sistemas a Eventos Discretos (LACSED) in Portuguese, is a research group from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) focused in the development and application of discrete-event systems control theories in engineering problems. The research group is registered at CNPq (Conselho Nacional de Pesquisa) since 2012 and has associate professors, graduate students and undergraduate students as members.
Among the application areas we list:
- manufacturing industry
- transportation systems
- computational security
- autonomous multiagent systems
The group is also committed to the development of teaching methodologies for Control and Automation.
