Lucas Vinícius Ribeiro Alves presented his Qualification Exam intitled “Supervisory Control Theory Applied to Synchronizing Automata in the sense of Discrete Event Systems” or, in portuguese, “Teoria do Controle Supervisório Aplicada a Autômatos Sincronizáveis no Contexto de Segurança em Sistemas a Eventos Discretos”. Lucas was oriented by Prof. Patrícia Pena and the comitee was composed by the Prof. Pena, Prof. Vinicius Mariano Gonçalves, Prof. Ricardo H. C. Takahashi, Prof. Bruno Vilhena Adorno and Prof. José Eduardo Ribeiro Cury.
Lucas was approved and will continue his studies to persue a PhD.
