In February of 2023, Karen Rudie visited UFMG (Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais) and LACSED (Laboratório de Análise e Controle de Sistemas a Eventos Discretos). During her time, Karen shared her expertise in the area of control of discrete-event systems.
Karen Gail Rudie is a Canadian control theorist and electrical engineer known for her work on the decentralized control of discrete event dynamic systems.She is a professor of electrical and computer engineering in Queen’s University at Kingston.[1]
